Artist, Designer, Jack of All Trades

Mario Lopez is a Detroit-based designer with over a decade of professional design experience.  He focuses on understanding client expectations and creates tailored designs to meet their unique needs.  He lives by an out-of-the-box problem-solving approach while listening carefully to concerns and desires. His methods result in award-winning designs, memorable experiences from homeowners and high-profile clients, and trustworthy rapports.

Mario strongly believes in Bauhaus design principles and the role they play in successful design.  His natural devotion to understanding root causes of design challenges and problems drives his aesthetic approach.  His understanding of form and function is reinforced by his skills to brainstorm and ideate, quick sketch, render, hand sculpt in clay and digitally in 2D and 3D.

Mario enjoys camping, kayaking, and exploring the outdoors.  He looks forward to traveling and participating in new cultural experiences.  He adores pets, cooking, listening to and creating electronic music and mixes. He reads the New York Times each morning and drinks a latte made on his beloved espresso machine.
